IskCon Grand Opening

IskCon celebrated the grand opening of its new temple covering 24,000 square feet with a central dome that stands 72-feet high.

People who visit ISKCON temple will see what the practice of Krishna consciousness means, as it embodies a way of life dedicated towards a higher purpose of serving God. This new temple will be a place where people of all backgrounds can come experience and learn the many things that bhakti-yoga has to offer, including vegetarian cooking, meditation, arts/crafts, mantra music (kirtan), meditation, and various philosophical discourses.

The grand opening of this temple is the first step towards a larger vision of becoming a favorable educational and cultural institution within the city. After completing the temple, ISKCON has many more developments on its way. It will soon be opening a new vegetarian restaurant in its current facility, a lounge where people can learn about bhakti-yoga, a primary school for children, an apartment community, and a boutique which will sell devotional items, books, clothing and much more.
