St. Patrick's Day Auroras
As a huge solar storm bombards the Earth, it's expected to super-charge the Northern Lights, creating a spectacle of green auroras just in time for St. Patrick's Day. More including webcasts at Space.com. Pictured: Northern lights or aurora borealis near the village of Vik, in southern Iceland.
